Sounds identical to The Wedding Planner

She ballroom dances on the side of planning weddings? Yup.

Identical? You might want to open up your dictionary and read the definition of that word. Have you seen The Wedding Planner? To give just one example, parents play a major part in the plot of that movie, and there are no parents anywhere in Ms. Matched.

On the other hand, it has been noticed and remarked upon that Hallmark Channel movies are very creative when it comes to "borrowing" ideas from the movies of 15 years ago. So it's very possible the ballroom-dancing aspect was "borrowed" from The Wedding Planner. This can naturally be chalked up to "creative license", and the accused screenwriter would say something along the lines of "You haven't heard there are no original ideas anymore? Does this mean that every movie or television show with ballroom-dancing is stolen from The Wedding Planner?"

P.S.: Still loved Ms. Matched!
