Anyone surprised that they really liked it?

I passed over the show approximately 23576378 times and each time I would think Jesus net that is awful. Then the weekend of New Years I gave it a shot and watch it straight through. I am shocked that I liked it but man did I like it. I can guarantee that she never considered someone like me when she wrote it. I would NEVER cross paths with the character except she kind of reminds me of the type of gal that I ran into when I was bartending my way through college. I never went home with her kind because I knew they were damaged and I'd be the guy that they'd look back on as a mistake.

Anyhow, I really liked it because I rarely run into something that puts me through my emotional paces. For some reason, even though I am not im the lilely demographic for the show I loved it- I connected with the character. I also REALLY enjoyed the run ins that she had with the loan officer dude. They were very special.

Anyone else surprised that they liked it or surprised that they hated it?

Watched it all in one shot, and surprised I loved it... a second season is coming

Surprised that i liked it since I watched Crashing and thought her character was the most annoying. Always see this in lists of best UK (comedy) shows and only 6 episodes so gave it a shot. And though somewhat similar to her character in Crashing - she was funnier and relatable in Fleabag. Can't wait for season 2!
