Another quality episode. The time jump of three months was a little bit too much though as they glossed over all of the discussion about Australia.
Carol, Kelly's mother, was such a terrible character, but at least they redeemed her a bit at the end.
This is different from a lot of comedies out there and I think that's why I've been enjoying it so much.
at first kelly annoyed me. but after seeing the episode with her mum, i just really like her now considering how her mum and friend treats her. it explains why she is like she is. she's actually a lot more scared and vulnerable than she seems and covers it up with being an airhead. she isn't the sharpest person there but she's got more character development than i expected
Scared and vulnerable yes but in my humble opinion knows what she's doing. She is the type of person who has very poor coping strategies and will react with a maladaptive response due to being emotionally stunted probably from years of abuse from her mother. She will probably attempt to sabotage all the good things that happen because deep down she doesn't feel she's worthy of them. this is a form of self harm. She needs CBT and CAT to address her chronic low self esteem and negative behaviours.
