Come ON Michael. You love her to bits. She held YOUR hand for crying out loud. Cathy put together a present that required thought and effort. IF anything screams "I want to be with you" it's a present that requires both THOUGHT and EFFORT!

The look on his face when he got to the "December" page was priceless.

Series 2 is confirmed. So hopefully he will grow a pair over the next few months. Cathy is beautiful, smart and NICE, such a rarity in combination. She won't be there forever.....

Yeah, brilliant acting in that 'December' scene from the pair of them. Superb.

Tough spot though for Michael, I didn't think Cathy saw him in that way before this episode, but I think she might be beginning too. If he'd moved in sooner there is a strong chance he would have been rejected and it would have made it awkward to spend any time around the house.

I have to believe though that Cathy is perceptive enough to at least have an inkling that Michael has feelings for her by now, but of course, sometimes things like this are much easier to see when it is two other people involved than when they involve yourself.

Anyway, already can't wait for season 2. Well done to everyone involved (if they're reading).
