Sydney's Geography

I know I might be nitpicking here, but there's no reason (or explanation) for such an error. In the opening scenes they are in the inner city, we see them driving on the Anzac Bridge, when the call about the dead body comes in. Nick tells him not to take the call but Det. Hyde says "we're the closest available". Then it turns out the crime scene is in KURNELL, that's about 35/40 klms away! Are the cops in Sydney operating on a skeleton staff?

They could have picked an area closer to the city to make it believable. I hope there aren't too many goofs like this one.

I fear like a lot of Australian media, we just don't seem to get good scriptwriters.

I just watched the second episode and the whole of what happened in Hong Kong just wasn't plausible. I fear the story lines will get more ridiculous and implausible.
