Comments after watching.........SPOILERS

He has a rift with his father, she gets the HUGE deal approved by herself, and they are falling in love.... and all of these are pretty much not shown.

We see him going into his family home, we see her getting into the limo and we see a super quick snowball fight and two Christmas carols..... from these, are we supposed to believe that he and his dad have made up for what ever conflict there was, (they don't tell what it was), that she negotiates a major deal by herself with no experience and only Santa's help, lol..... and that they are 'together' now over some tree buying, cookie decorating and cocoa. All in two days???

I love the cast of this movie, but the script was lame.

Hey, it's Hallmark. Nothing makes sense. People walk around in snowstorms with no hats, no gloves and their coats wide open. With fake snow all around. And the two leads fall in love in the last 5 minutes or so. LOL

worst snow ever.

I'm watching it now, and the rift involved the son dropping out of law school to pursue his own business. The dad wanted him to join the family firm. FWIW, I called the rift being due to the son not wanting to join the family business well before that was revealed. I've watched too many Hallmark movies LOL.

As for the other stuff, I agree with the other post here- it's a typical Hallmark film. I was surprised to see the leading guy was clean shaven and wore a tie with his suit.

The romance was just OK, though I did like the male lead and Lacey. More engaging to me was her character arc. I loved how she started to be such a b*d*ss after being such a doormat. I liked that she called out her best friend at work, and the friend apologized and admitted she was right.

Agree, I thought her story was what kept me interested. I didn't like the conflict with the father, I mean talk about 1st world problems. You are mad at your son, not because he is a drug-addicted degenerate, or some obnoxious jerk who treats them bad. He's mad because his son is a successful businessman who is otherwise a nice, upstanding citizen, but he didn't become a lawyer like the Dad would have preferred. That's grounds for basically disowning him? A bit of a stretch, but it's Hallmark, and there needs to be some conflict so they can forgive at the end.
