What is Susan Sarandon talking about?

Vodka does NOT have sugar in it. Any liquor, regardless of from what it is made, over 80 proof loses all carbohydrates (which includes sugar) in the distillation process. She's also on the agave bandwagons because it has a low glycemic index and it is "processed differently" (whatever she means by that), ignoring the fact that the unhealthiness of sugar has very little to do with the glycemic index and much more to do with the amount of fructose. And guess what? Agave is very high in fructose. Fructose is metabolized solely in the liver, which is damaging. I used to really like Susan Sarandon but whenever I see her on anything she just seems like more and more of a pseudo-intellectual.
