In the first episode Maxi told the story of what her pig said before he died, I thought she ended it when Jamie fell asleep. Was it Jamie and Bonderant had sex and that was why he was so in love with her. So Bonderant just didn't out of the blue fall in love with Jamie they had been sleeping together behind Maxi's back. That why she was not upset about his declaration of love for Jamie. Did I get this right, any thoughts out there on this.

If you've watched the third episode, 'Blow' you should have the answers to your questions but I'll put it here in case you didn't get it, or for anyone else wanting to know. First, I just thought I should tell you her name is Mitzi, not Maxi. Yes, by the time Mitzi finished her story about her pig talking to her before he died, Jamie had already fallen asleep, and yes, the pig told her that Jamie and Bondurant had sex, and that's probably why Mitzi wasn't surprised that he said he loved Jamie. But, Jamie and Bondurant didn't actually have sex, the pig made that up, and Bondurant isn't actually in love with Jamie, he just said that to make Mitzi jealous, he actually loves Mitzi.

But the pig story was just her talking about a dream right? I had assumed that at the time but some threads here have confused me.

The pig story is actually real. I know it's weird and confusing. The thing you have to know about this show to understand it is that there are actually supernatural/fantasy/magical/mystical elements to it, it's not your typical comedy.
