A Corvil? (Spoilers)

Why add new animal names to the story? A lexicon already exists. It's nonsense. I'm assuming corvils are crows, but the scene in the church made zero sense. Crows are not nocturnal, so why would they be attacking and hunting rabbits at night? I'm assuming they're crows since they sound like crows, even though their beaks are drawn like ravens. Why make up a name and then call a fox a fox instead of a homba? So far I'm not impressed. I may be biased since the original is one of my favorite movies.

Additionally, I'm not a fan of this cheap animation at all. And why do they mispronounce many of the rabbit words? I'm basing that on my assumption that the original pronounced them correctly since Richard Adams was involved. I won't even get started on the unfunny and juvenile banter between Bluebell and Dandelion (Blackberry?). It's forced and failed humor.

I don't think they were hunting - they were defending their rookery

Indeed.
