I have enjoyed Vanessa Marcil in the past, but a 48 year old playing a 28 year old? It was just too much. She had so much fillers and botox, glasses and hair in her face, I could barely see her. And David Sutlciffe another late 40's actor with a teenage sister? Hallmark, are you really so desperate for talent you have to completely miscast to fill the parts? You are doing these actors no favors.
share(sigh) Happen to agree. These characters in their poster looked neat, but they were really... old. Marcil was a bit too late to play a before-her-thirties character and Sutcliffe... he was pretty cool as a (probable)young Santa in Charming Christmas, but he looks really nothing like an early 30s.
This feels like off-target, and the only thing redeemable would probably be the story.
I didn't catch them saying they were 28, that's nuts. I actually thought this was the first time I could see Marcil's age, she's beautiful but she looks her age. I actually do think Sutcliffe looks younger, though, not 28 but at the very max, 10yrs younger than Marcil.
Aside from all that, this movie was so boring. I ended up fast forwarding through some of it, maybe that's when I missed the whole 28 thing. According to Marcil it was Halmark's 3rd highest rated movie, surprised there isn't more action on this thread, everyone must of fallen asleep.
