WTF was up with Vanessa's hair flipping and David's pink lips?

I think Vanessa flipped her hair as many times as Kate Winslet yelled "Jack" in Titanic. The make-up in this sucked like I've never seen before and trust me, my language is very unusual. David looked like he was wearing a 13-year-old's extremely light pink lip gloss. 

Its one saving grace were those beautiful flowers. Though ranunculus is a horrible name, those flowers are truly beautiful and I'm happy to hear that they're both bulbs and they grow well in my zone. I am SO going to plant some of those.

Fans of ranunculus need to stand up and pick out a beautiful name for the flowers. I mean, people are called Lily, Rose, Violet, etc. Sorry but Ranunculus doesn't just roll off the tongue quite so beautifully as those flowers truly are. 
