Liked this film more than I'd expected.

I saw the Little hours in my recommended list on Netflix.
I was vaguely familiar with the film, and was somewhat interested as I had enjoyed some of Jeff Baena's previous work.
This is a very funny comedy with an unbelievably stacked cast.
The idea of presenting a 14th century Italian comedy in modern English is an interesting idea that is for the most part, fairly well executed.
Aubrey Plaza, Alison Bire and Kate Micucci are most amusing as the lecherous nuns in the care of the equally flawed Father Tommasso and Sister Marea, hilariously portrayed by John C Reilly and Molly Shannon.
I even found Dave Franco, who I usually find to be grating and annoying, to be pretty enjoyable.
Throw in bit parts from the likes of Nick Offerman, Paul Reiser and Fred Armisen, and the Little hours is one of the most unique and refreshing comedies I've seen in a while.
