This show is f-ing great!

I think most folks do not get any of the inside quips these guys are throwing out at rapid fire I may add.

They are f-ing hilarious to watch. I am not sure why all the hate on the hosts and on the show. I think most folks hating on the show are really just philistines that aren't getting any of the humor.

Puh-lease a burning man reference. That alone was a lol moment.

Aaron Sorkin is the King of Quip and does it better than anyone. The Newsroom failed because the "rapid-fire" literary and pop-culture references were grossly overdone.

The hosts of this show wouldn't even qualify as poor-man versions of Sorkin. They seem like nice guys who are merely trying too hard. Their references are forced -- and painfully excessive. It's so hard to watch.

And nothing personal, they aren't on-air talent. They just aren't.

Painfully excessive is an understatement. It's like every time they go to Greenwald he's making some type of attempt at humor. I find a lot of what he says funny, but he needs to learn when to take his shots. I used to listen to their Grantland version of this show and seemed to enjoy it more. I remember them joking on their podcast about Chris Hardwick being on HBO's speed dial or something of that nature. All kidding aside, I think the show would have been so much better with him.

I wonder about you sometimes Henry, you may fold under questioning...

There commentary is not insightful or interesting. Watching a couple of beta males and a 3rd wave feminist try and make excuses for the violence in the show is boring. Go watch CBG19.

reply

Agreed.

It's a fun show, and they break it down nicely.

Had a good laugh when they said 'turns out, the Hound has been working crew for Burning Man.'

The rest of the folks are just bitter *beep* wads that dont create *beep* but certainly can sit around and critique what others are doing. *beep* paw-thetic trolls.
