not bad, right?

I've watched all these live musicals the past few years (and the non-live rocky horror) - and they've all been pretty boring or terrible.. this one has been pretty decent.

reply

Pretty decent but damn it's long. I realize they have to do commercials, but I don't really get the point of cutting to the live audiences in the different cities. Just a time waster if you ask me. It's going to be 3 hours!

reply

You're not wrong.

reply

For that reason I will buy the DVD...probably only 2 hours long without all those annoying commercials.

reply

I was thinking the same thing!
But I do love this production!

reply

I thought it started really strong, but kind of ran out of steam halfway through. All in all though, not bad, and I liked a lot of individual performances.

I personally liked Grease:Live better, to be honest. Several of the dance numbers were lacking... especially "You Can't Stop the Beat" at the end.

reply

The choreography was lacking because of the limited dancing abilities of several of the actors.

reply

Yes, I noticed that.
