First 10 minutes in: are we supposed to pretend that Harvey Fierstein is either funny and pleasant to listen to? I have heard more attractive sounds coming out of someone's a$$. And is Martin Short's character supposed to be comedic? Either his timing is off, there is no chemistry between the cast members, or just really poor casting. And then this odd heavy set guy did a commercial i think into the camera, and it was like either he had stage fright or just misdirected.

He was supposed to be. But he just hammed up the place.

Not just the first 10 minutes. That pretty much summed up this entire version. I'm probably going to pull out the DVDs of the other versions to wipe this sh*% out of my memory.
