It hasn't been announced who'll be playing Prudy Pingleton yet.

Andrea Martin has been cast as Prudy Pingleton!

And I believe this will be her seventh collaboration with Martin Short.

Usually it's a trio role and the same actress playing the Matron and the gym teacher also has that role but in this production they are separating the roles and Penny's mom has been cast. I'm guessing they are leaving off The Big Dollhouse song just like the film did so the matron isn't needed.
