I never watched The Wiz, so this is my list:

Seems like everybody will agree that Peter Pan was the worst one.

Anyone who thinks Grease was better is insane.

Never saw The Wiz.

The thing is, Hairspray is by far my favorite show in general of the ones they've done live productions of, so in that sense alone I would have to give it to Hairspray because I just adore the show haha (though I love The Sound of Music movie very much too).

But in terms of the quality of productions? I have to say:

1) Grease (nothing can beat the brilliance of Tommy Kail's direction! It was the first one to truly use the TV medium to make the production feel unique and special, and it did it more seamlessly than Hairspray. It was just so cool to watch)

2) Hairspray (definitely a ton of fun! But I have to admit, it made me appreciate just how fantastic the movie is even more haha, because I still prefer the movie. The movie cast was perfection)

3) The Wiz


Honestly I didn't watch Sound of Music live or Peter Pan, so can't judge, but I would assume Peter Pan was the weakest based on other peoples' responses haha.
