I had no idea how funny Carrie Fisher was

Loved this documentary!

Carrie Fisher has all of these great lines that just come naturally out of her mouth. At one point, she's doing a red carpet with her mom and someone asks her about their lives on the red carpet, and she just starts riffing that they're always on the red carpet, they walk around on red carpets at home. I just really enjoyed her personality and sense of humor.

These ladies were so comfortable with themselves and show business, each in their own way. Debbie was trained like a debutant, polished, polite, and regal. Carrie was boisterous and engaging, and loved a good d*ck joke. They were adorable together!

I loved when she was doing the tour of her home and showed the room full of ugly children portraits. Very funny :)

Postcards From the Edge is one of my favorite books, very sly and well written, hilarious in some parts, and heartbreaking in others. Bipolar indeed...

I only found out in the last few yrs that she was very funny. I wish I had known about that side of her all this time. She was a hoot.

You should check out her live HBO special titled, "Wishful Drinking." Very funny, candid one woman show she did. What is sad is that she was just going to start working on a sequel show the week she died. 

It was amazing. I had no idea they had such an amazing collection of Hollywood memorabilia and that compound... all of the whimsical items in and around the house.. I could spend a week looking at everything there. What a crime now that they are gone it will all be scattered to the wind.

RIP...

OHHH GOOOD FOR YOU!!

The one reporter who managed to snag the very last interview Carrie ever gave described some of the stuff at her house.

He said she had a sign that read "Feel free to ask me about your new prescription medications" and a parking spot outside her home that stated "Reserved for hookers." 

Scattered? Billie Lourd will take care of it. And Todd Fisher.

I read a book of Carrie Fisher's a few years ago and have appreciated her so much (other than Star Wars) since.

I loved when she was talking about stopping Debbie Reynolds from going on a tour. She said it was (I'm paraphrasing) like getting in front of - what is it? - a tiramisu. No, a tsunami. No, a tsumommy. She was so so funny.
