Why do these Korean shows end in such weird ways

Why does it seem that every Korean Drama has to end with such a strange a twisted episode. Even if things end 'well' the entire premise is destroyed.
In this show, she leaves him because of a curse, yet decides to be with him again despite the curse 3 years later? why? Ths seems to happen in every Korean dram in the last decade.
