I actually really liked the guy before this....he came across as a real stand-up dude. I've only watched the first episode and I'm already put off by him. They are there doing his woman a favor by caring for her as she recovers, he could show a little gratitude and not have such a stick up his butt.

He's not a dick as much as he is a tight ass....When not in character, the guy seems to lack any charisma, personality, or humor.
I understand he has a nice home and wants to keep it in pristine shape...However, all of the weekly ceremonies is pretentious...You're a professional wrestler dude; not a member of the royal family...Not off the black tie galas every Wednesday and let the house feel like a home.

I thought he way overreacted about the dog though.
Dogs can tell when you don't like them, with the attitude he was giving I'm not surprised he got bit. I was bitten by a dog when I was 10, I didn't like the dog and he could tell. I was angry but even at 10 years old I realized afterwards that I created a stressful environment for the dog. My hostility was obvious to him even though I didn't do anything physically. I like to think John did acknowledge he over reacted afterwards but they just didn't put it in the show.
