Funny!!!

Surprisingly funny. Not great but this is how the original started. It's definetly got potential to get better. I'll definetly give it a chance. Alot better that the crap on SNL!!!

Agreed. I liked the restaurant sketch and i howled through the Bachelor with Kenny Rogers, and i loved the Trulywed Game. Funny, two of the best sketches had Will Sasso in them...uh, is he really busy these days?

I also thought it was a decent first episode. I laughed a good bit. I especially liked the Kristen Stewart , Donald Trump, and Lena Dunham impressions. My favorite skit overall was probably the Game of Thrones one where the viewers are confused by the story (the same reason I don't watch it lol). Also, the restaurant skit was a good idea for a skit, though the execution wasn't that funny. It was nice to see Nicole and Will, but they didn't really add that much, IMO. My favorite cast was from 2005-2007 so I hope to see more of that cast back for an episode or two. I am looking forward to the next episode.

I'd rather give the series a decent shot. As much as I love the first 5 years of Saturday Night, there were some episodes in the first part of the first season I, now, don't find very funny....it's only because they're getting their feet wet. The first season became uproarious in the second half.

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.

As long as it doesn't develop any annoying reoccurring characters, looks like the CW is improving as a channel.

I completely agree

I've seen most of the episodes that have aired by now, and I gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the show so far. I can't compare to the original show's first season, since I never saw those episodes, but this cast really stands on their own in my eyes. My initial favorites were Piotr Michael (awesome impressions) and Carlie Craig. Now Lyric Lewis and Adam Ray have grown on me. My favorite sketches so far have been the Game of Thrones, the Safe Space, Trump Elementary, and the Empire parody. Honestly, the cast members returning from the old show haven't added that much.

P.S. I watched The Heat (the movie with Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock) and I realized that one of the bad guys was played by Adam Ray. I think he's had the most successful career of the cast prior to MADtv.

P.S.S. I complimented Lyric Lewis on Twitter and she liked my tweet. Also, I got a reply from Piotr Michael :p
