Good story, but might be a rip off of a graphic novel

"Ces jours qui disparaissent" is a graphic novel by Timothé le Boucher, printed in 2017, that is one year before "Jonathan".
It tells the story of two personnalities sharing the same body.
They appear one day out of two.
They communicate through videos they record for each other
They have likewise roommate agreements (like "i'll do the laundry if you agree to do more physical exercise...")
They have very different personnalities
until one personnality is taking over...

i don't know the graphic novel at all, but given the timing of how movie productions tend to roll out, it's almost certainly the case the script for this film was in the can years before it was produced, no?

not to say that the idea couldn't have been floating about.

i watched jonathan about 16 months back or so, & can't really remember a lot of its specifics, but i do recall thinking it was pretty well done & quite a good watch.

I thought the timing was tight for a rip off too. Still, the similarities are uncanny...
