Nah, the worst was the Yes Minister revival. That was TERRIBLE.


As for this pilot, well... It was bad. They got the character right, but there wasn't any story. Hyacinth is all about being the woman that everyone can't stand and try to avoid but in here, she has the voice and the dialogue but she has no power what so ever.


You won't see Elizabeth shaking in her house, you wont' see Emet trying to avoid her singing and such. When you're dealing with her younger self, people will just ignore her and walk away. That's why it can't work and it's a shame to even try.


Also, they made her a maid? That is just so dumb. Sure, it makes sense that she'll try for a position where she can hang around the aristocracy and such, but as a maid? Surely that's something with no way of advancement. They couldn't find her a better job?
