I must say I liked it. Yes, there was with the characters a certain characturisation(?) but surely all sitcoms have that. I thought Kerry Howard did a good job and certainly had the mannerisms of Patricia Routledge. Does anyone know where it was filmed? I wonder which canal did they use?

Somewhere near Rickmansworth was used apparently for the scenes where the cottage was.
