So "D" and Chance are busted ?

Last scene of the last episode.

I don't really have a good feeling about this thread of where
D is identified and the police are looking for him. There is too
much chance of it getting ridiculous and scrambling the whole
plot up.

Things are plenty interesting enough in this weirdo series
without all this chaos.

And what is with Carl's ( the black furniture shop owner's )
sudden onset of effeminacy. And I wrong of was he not like
this in the beginning of the series and I just missed it or ignored
it. Now they have him sashaying all around with his little tied
back hair puffs. Funny how Hollywood makes these gay-
positive roles with such gay cliches, but really doesn't show
what it is or means. I don't know, maybe that is a positive
thing, but it just seems unrealitistic and like we are being
preached to.

If he made a cold call to a cop like that, the cop would just ignore
him most likely. I liked the character until he morphed for no
reason into another character entirely.

You didn’t like the Teddy bear hair buns? :-D Yeah, they’re stressing his softer side now. Maybe he was originally going to have a smaller role but viewers liked the character so they’re fleshing him out more. It does seem a stark turnaround. Or maybe Kevin Hynes’ death has changed his outlook and he’s coming out all the more.

I’m glad they addressed the legal issues of taking Nicole away without Eldon’s approval. But it’s hard to tell where they’re going with Nicole, whether they’re trying to make her look like she’s in the right. Ninja Nicole.

I agree that they seem to be taking a different turn. I liked the clandestine powwows and keeping it all a bit of an underground operation with Eldon, D and Carl.

I don’t particularly like all the shifts, but not ready to give up hope yet. We’ll see where they go with it all. I hope they don’t ruin it by trying to go for shock value.

I did not realize when I wrote my first comment the episode had not ended. Now that I have had a chance to finish it things are even more screwed up.

Now Chance is unemployed, D is in the clutches of some bad hombres as Trump would call them, and around the campfire Nicole seems like she is cursed to always get hooked up with criminal types that toy with her for the fun of it. Did you get the feeling that the girl around the campfire put something in Nicole's pack that is going to incriminate her and get her in deeper trouble?

I don't think MovieChat does much advertising ... or perhaps it is a front for an organization that is data mining for how conversations work and how to simulate them with AI?

I find Chance interesting. It is not that I do not like it, it is that it's point is very much obscured. Some people just like shows that are unpredictable, and of course predictable is not good, but to sacrifice meaning or rationality to sell a TV is also not good either.

Oh, and the title I thought was not directly spoiling anything so I left it.

Now that the series is over - I dunno if there's any point that one can draw from it per se. It seems to have a few similarities to Dexter - except that most seasons of Dexter had a formula to them - a season long story arc of dexter vs. some baddy SK combined with single episode Dexter kills. This TV series had more of a season long story arc - but the premise is very similar. Though it should be noted that the real star of this show was D, not Dr. Chance, who was there for the ride.

But anyways -if I were to draw any points from this show, it would have to be that vigilante justice has a price. I imagine if this show were to go on, the price for the vigilantes would grow steeper with each season.
