This movie clearly isn't filmed in Arlington Heights, but it's fun that the movie is set there. Even better, the name of the school, John W. Hughes. Nice nod to John Hughes.

shareBeing from Arlington Heights, Illinois myself, it was fun to hear the movie takes place here. But there is no way this movie was filmed here. The news, like in this movie, would have been all over the story of a movie (even if it's a TV movie) being filmed in town. Most likely the movie was filmed in Canada, as a lot of Hallmark Channel movies are. That's what I'm guessing.
On another note....if Andrew Walker were in my hometown, I would totally be trying to figure out where he was while filming lol. That is one good looking man! :)
