Not because of this, but I'm glad they wised up and eliminated him. He wasn't a team player and his ideas lacked a lot of scientific foundation most of the time. It was painful watching him try to climb that wall with his feet harness things.
Anyway, this does add to who the heck he even was and he how he wasn't really qualified at all to be a Mythbuster. Just goes to show how much down the reality tv hole they dug to fill cast member slots on The Search.
He was on there because he has had his own show in the past building crazy things on Science and on TLC's Junkyard Wars. So I wouldn't doubt him knowing some of the crew.
