apparently she gained 39 pounds (18 kilos) according to The Grosby Group.

She started shooting last week in Vancouver. The shooting will last until november 2nd.

So What. This hasn't been the first time she's gained weight for a role. She did the same thing when she was cast as Aileen Wuornos in Monster.

If I was in a stinker like this, gaining 39 pounds would be the least of it ... I'd probably jump off a high building ... awful movie.

Yes, it is a cinch to gain/lose weight for a role when you have access to personal trainers, personal chefs, dietitians and doctors who will be assisting you. Try doing that out in the real world!
