What’s Up With the Witches?

I’m disappointed, I thought they were badass, especially Serafina Pekkala. For that matter I thought Ruta Skadnick was also a badass but we have Ms. Coulter torturing witches, then Serafina sends that guy who represents her to the Magisterium only to have them grab him & condemn him to death basically & to think she expected a different outcome. Then they’re hunted & their home is bombed & destroyed. What the hell man? I understand taking the high road every now & then but are they like this in the books as well? At least in the first season we could see she knew how to deal, she actually was more action then, so what the heck happened?

If they do execute that guy don’t tell me she’s going to be passive about it. Too much is too much. What say you all?
