Yeah I didn't quite get why they couldn't just shoot Rose or find an easier way to kill her. They just put it down to her being "too powerful for either of us" or something along those lines. She wasn't even fully aware of who Danny was until she met him at the hotel, so it seemed he could have hid somewhere and shot her. I think they overestimated her power somewhat
shareMy cat learned how to open our doors by watching us. We began to find doors open when we had closed them. Then one day I caught her on her hind legs standing up with her front paws stretched up onto the door knob and she turned the doorknob by using both front paws.
So maybe that cat in the movie did open the doors.

shareWe thought it could be one of our dogs or the cat pushing it open. But when we found them open after we surely completely closed them...we did wonder if something supernatural was occurring.
My sister was home alone, and heard my bedroom door open loudly (it has a slight jam at the top corner so theres a loud sound from it rubbing the door frame) she thought someone was intruding into our house since she was home alone. She went to see and the cat was sitting in my room alone. After we knew who to look for, I caught the cat opening a door later on.
