should you rewatch The Shining?

definitely not. in fact i think the Shining story and this don't really mesh very well together. they really went berserk with supernatural element. and they ignore all the subtle elements of abuse Kubrick put in the film. this film is a cool story, but I have a hard time relating it to the original film. they do a fine job with recreating all the important elements from the movie as well. also, that's two too many slow movies to sit through in a row.
