people are ignoring facts. this is definitely true, black people even joke about it.

I don't think you are talking about black people but jerks in general who talk during a movie. They come in all races though but honestly are often teens. To avoid this annoyance I don't go see movies at night when they are new. And definitely not on opening night who wants to deal with so many bodies.

Funny to see this post. I just saw this movie tonight. There was a guy in the theatre sitting alone, making comments aloud on the film and laughing very loudly at odd moments. It was strange. At one point I went to the bathroom. No one else was there. Then he came in after me, didn't use the facilities, just stood there and kept saying, "This movie! What a movie!" and then left. That was more than odd - it was a bit scary.

Years ago I went to see Alien vs Predator with my girlfriend. There was a black couple sitting behind us and all night long they made black jokes about the black female lead and the predator and his dreadlocks. They said stuff that was so insanely racist against their own race it was mind boggling. Of course they had the entire audience laughing hysterically throughout the film. But still, they said stuff that I would never imagine saying in a million years.

Because if a white person tells a black person to be quiet they’re considered a racist. Also, both black and white people can be obnoxious at movies.

I once told some guy to please turn off his phone. He asked if I worked there. I said no, but the phone is distracting. He told me he paid for a ticket just like me. Wait...What? I told him that what he said makes no sense and that I will have someone who does work at the theater make him turn off his phone. He did and after the movie he waited for me in the lobby. I stared straight into his eyes. Somehow that worked, he looked away and left the theater.
