Just feels like one of those films where everything is imagined, blah blah blah, he’s dreaming, he’s not dreaming, is he nuts, ok he’s not nuts, no he’s just completely nuts...movie ends and it’s what the hell did I just watch? Amirite?

I read the book and it was really nothing like that. No idea how it will translate to film but it wasn't that at all.

They're trying to do a "Shining universe" and that's as annoying as humanly possible. If Stephen King says he loves it, that should mean it's bad.

It does look annoying. Like there's gonna be lots of long, slow shots of Ewan being like "oh my god, what's going on?" as dumb stuff takes place all in his head. And then probably lots of long dumb scenes of him explaining all the dumb stuff we just sat through.
