They didn't even try to get the times right

I want to know where Happy is supposed to be.

It takes three hours to get an ambulance from Bessemer. Three hours North of Bessemer and you are in Tennessee. Three hours South of Bessemer and you are below Montgomery. Three hours East/West you are in Mississippi or Georgia.

It takes five hours to get an ambulance from Montgomery. If you drive five hours in any direction from Montgomery you would be out of the state.

Also small towns have ambulances too. I live in a town of 3600 and we have an ambulance and a small hospital. There has got to be something closer than 3-5 hours.

Tyler Perry is trolling all of us. You have to watch as a comedy.

I am! TBH, I never seen any of his shows and didn't know he was a part of this one. It is literally so bad, I can't stop watching.

THANK YOU!!!! I think they're trying to obscure it but I looked at my daughter when he said how long it was to get an ambulance and said, "There is no freaking place in all of Alabama where an ambulance would take that long!"

I'm in the medical field myself, I live in Alabama, and I happen to know this as a fact.

I think they would have been better off using a village in Alaska. I used to live there and that is definitely true. You would wait many hours before any help comes. Many, MANY hours.

I live in Alabama too. I get that they don't want to specify a place in Alabama, but at least research it.

At the top you have Huntsville. Birmingham next, Montgomery in central and Mobile and Dothan in the bottom corners. All have multiple hospitals.

Like I said, I live in a small town and we have a hospital that is basically an oversize clinic, but if you are bad off they can stabilize you and get a helicopter to pick you up and take you to Montgomery or Birmingham.

I agree about Alaska. I know that they have places that are really remote.

I guess they are just playing off the stereotype that Alabama is so backwards that it takes three hours to get an ambulance. I am surprised that they were willing to admit there is even a hospital or doctor in the whole state since we are so backwards.

Well they do seem to imply that the only Doctor has dementia. And of course his son should also know how to be a Dr. They did after all, live in the same house.

I actually laughed out loud when I read what you said. You're so right! This whole premise is so stupid. Tyler Perry obviously isn't the brilliant man everyone thought him to be.

In fact, I'd call him pretty racist considering that this is how he thinks white people live and breathe.

I never thought Tyler Perry was brilliant. I don't watch anything that's associated with his name. He directing sucks. His acting sucks. His writing sucks. His productions suck. He just generally sucks. I've always considered him to be like a jester. Not a very good one either.

It's because the crime is being covered up. The sherriff is giving Brody a load of shyt. Also, sherriff was referring to a private ambulance
