First episode was cute, could have gone either way, unfortunately it went wrong way with second episode which was dull and unfocused and hasn't moved the story anyway

While I found the first episode engaging, the second just dragged, and as you mention, ended up going nowhere.

I'm sorry, but if I only have 8.5 months left to live, I'm not wasting my time on this show.

The first episode has only 0.4 ratings in demo. It dropped to 0.3 for the second episode. Normally CW will pull the show off the screen at 0.3. I expect them to do so this week.

And the third episode was just a silly sitcom. The show is not living up to the potential of the pilot.

Actually, the numbers are going up. There are two reviews on the homepage of this show. The reviews are very good.

It's all relative. This week stabilized at a 0.3. Frequency isn't doing much better. Jane the Virgin premiered its season at 0.4. Legends of Tomorrow came back to a 0.5, Arrow to a 0.7. The only shows that are doing *really* well so far (and getting above two million) are The Flash, Supergirl and Supernatural.

The CW rarely pulls shows early and most of its current lineup hasn't premiered yet, anyway. So, this is probably safe enough for a season as long as it doesn't drop to something drastic like a 0.1 multiple weeks. Whether it gets any more seasons really depends on how badly other CW shows do, which is impossible to say at this point.
