shareI wouldn't blame actors. It is the outdated Neilsen ratings, which seem to ignore viewers and critics, in my opinion.
They take 18-49 age group as main audience. But, lately, most of the TV shows contain similar language and scenes and are watched by children under 18. Some ads like lipstick, Toys R Us, do appeal to younger audience and so the ratings need to reflect that audience too.
Well since the CW just cancelled No Tomorrow, the answer is yes.
