Just hold the metal ball at the Martini Glass, release it, track it to that sloping thingee, mark it's point of highest return, then ...

Then release the ball from the exact same point on that sloping thingee plus just a tad extra ...

Sheesh ... come on people, put your thinking caps on and use some of that "Measure Twice, Cut Once" your teachers taught you ...
