Interesting and not too shabby

This movie was not that bad. I watched it randomly expecting it to be crap, but it's quite enjoyable, informative and entertaining.
Many things could have been better (no mention to Back to the Future????) but even the habitual god awful Suedekis smirking performance works in this one (his character is a bluffing clown, so it fits).

I recommend it for a watch.

If memory serves, this movie is based on events that happened before Back to the Future.

Hey I guess you are right, I didn't realize it it's between 82 and 84.

It was a lot better than I imagined it would be. Telling the DeLorean drug money story from the view of Hoffman gave it the edge it needed, otherwise it would have been too serious of a movie.

I have the book which has all the transcripts of meetings and phone calls recorded by the FBI in it so was quite aware of all that happened long before seeing this. It was good to see how it was represented on screen.

I loved the very end!

Suedekis was great, pretty underrated performance I'd say.

It fits his acting like a glove, a double crosser smirking weasel who means well but wounds up fucking everybody.
Should do more roles like this one, rather than the leading man/nice guy/hearthrob.

Try We're the Millers

It actually turned out to be pretty entertaining. I like the guy they hired to play John DeLorean. It was interesting to see how certain events unfolded and gave us some insight into John's life (I knew about the car, but not much about the man himself).

I definitely think they could have touched upon giving us more in-depth details surrounding Mr. DeLorean, but I'll take what I can get.

The rating should be a tad bit higher in my opinion.
