The Tues. and Wed. comedies will probably air reruns that week, if they air at all... 

Also, the new series Imaginary Mary will have a "sneak peek" in Speechless' slot March 29, but starting Tues., April 4, it'll be taking The Real O'Neals' spot. 

* 2/8 -- in a recent interview, JRB alluded to an upcoming Valentine's Day episode that would address some early viewer complaints about Jimmy and Maya's apparent lack of intimacy:

Seems like this ought to be the week it would air, rather than waiting until the day after the actual holiday (2/15).

** 2/22 -- according to SpoilerTV, the title for 1x16 will be "O-S--Oscar P-A--Party":

1x17, "S-U-R--Surprise!":

And 1x18, "D-I--DING":

LOVE IS IN THE AIR… OR IS IT? ON ABC’S ‘SPEECHLESS’

"V-A-L-- VALENTINE'S D-A-- DAY"- Maya attempts to give Jimmy a Valentine's Day gift, with the help of his old roommate and her ex-fiance while Ray is elated to find out he has a secret admirer, but will he learn the truth of who it is? Meanwhile, JJ is in charge of distributing candy-grams, which proves challenging for both him and Kenneth, on "Speechless," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

"Speechless" stars Minnie Driver as Maya DiMeo, John Ross Bowie ("The Big Bang Theory") as Jimmy DiMeo, Mason Cook as Ray DiMeo, Micah Fowler as JJ DiMeo, Kyla Kenedy as Dylan DiMeo and Cedric Yarbrough as Kenneth.

Guest starring is Marin Hinkle as Dr. Miller, Ken Marino as Ethan, Kelly King as Ethan's wife, Lauryn Speights as Girl and Anjini Azhar as Veronica.

"V-A-L-- VALENTINE'S D-A-- DAY"- was written by Shana Goldberg-Meehan & Niki Schwartz-Wright and directed by Stuart McDonald.

Sounds like there might be a bit of backstory regarding M&J's past in this one...  (Re: the old roommate / ex-fiance, I wonder what's the story there -- Jimmy stole Maya from Ethan, Maya got cold feet about marrying Ethan and took up with Jimmy instead, or Ethan dumped her?  )

Also, interesting guest star casting here, considering that when Bowie guested on the last episode of Party Down, he got to punch out Marino's character at a wedding:

So, our site, Decider, focuses on TV and movies that are on streaming, and you have a very impressive list of TV credits under your belt. Pre-Speechless, you’ve done episodes here and there of some really great sitcoms and other TV — Glee, Party Down, Veep, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Happy Endings, Children’s Hospital — could you pick one or two episodes that you really loved doing, or you’re really proud of, to say “Oh, go seek that out and find it on streaming and watch it”?

I’m on my phone, I can’t look up my own IMDB page. I did a Curb Your Enthusiasm where my wife [actress Jamie Denbo] and I auditioned together, and we booked it together, and we played Jamie and John, who were neighbors of Larry’s. It’s a very interesting episode, and it was really funny, and it happens to deal with people in wheelchairs and our perceptions around them and how able-bodied people tend to congratulate themselves by being friends with people who use wheelchairs. It’s ten years old at this point, but in the context of my current job, it’s a really interesting episode to look at.

I’m completely and totally proud of my Big Bang Theory work; I’ve had a total blast doing that show over the years, coming in and out like — perhaps I flatter myself — like that show’s Newman. I’m in the very final episode ["Constance Carmell Wedding"] of Party Down which is notable because the cast was just a murderer’s row, I mean what a cast! And on top of that, it’s the only time I’ve ever sort of thrown a punch on TV.

Oh, very nice. Congratulations!

I am usually neither a lover nor a fighter, just a guy. And, so, I punched Ken Marino on that show, and it was very hard to shoot. I love Ken, he’s an old friend, I didn’t want to offend him. Oh, and I did a House of Lies episode in their first season where I had two great moments. One where I dressed-down Don Cheadle in this incredible monologue that they wrote, and I also play a foot fetishist who sucked on Kristen Bell’s feet. She was an awfully good sport about it, too. Not every actor would have been as cool about that but she was super game, and whenever I’ve run into her since then she’d, in a very friendly fashion, waved her foot at me.

Modern Family always has great Valentine’s Day episodes. Will they have one this year? — Farah

Yes, and Modern Family fans will heart this: The Valentine’s Day episode on Feb. 8 brings back Elizabeth Banks as Cam and Mitch’s friend Sal, and Nathan Fillion as weatherman Rainer Shine. With her German boyfriend out of town, Sal winds up crashing Cam and Mitch’s romantic night out — Haley tags along, too. But there’s potential heartbreak for Haley on this night of Cupid, as she spots Rainer at a bar with another woman when he said he was going to be working at the TV station! Is a drink thrown in someone’s face? Yes. But someone else is getting wet, too.

Do you have any info on any of the ABC comedies? — Marika

How about some teases for Speechless and The Goldbergs? In time for Valentine’s Day, a family secret about Maya and Jimmy will come out on Speechless. Meanwhile, on The Goldbergs, Barry channels his inner-athlete while Beverly and Erica find out a specific music genre isn’t quite dead yet.

If the "family secret" has to do with Maya having been engaged to Jimmy's roommate before marrying Jimmy, ABC already blew that one in their official press release. 

JJ QUESTIONS THE NEED FOR KENNETH, WHILE THE FAMILY LIVES THE GOOD LIFE AT A COUNTRY CLUB, ON ABC’S ‘SPEECHLESS’

“T-H– THE C-L– CLUB”– JJ gets into an argument with Kenneth over their time together while Dylan decides she must “parent-trap” them both so they can get back together. Meanwhile, the family gets a chance to be members of a country club for a week. Ray sees it as a chance to live the high life while Maya jumps at the chance to spend mother-and-son time, on ”Speechless,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (8:30-9:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

“Speechless” stars Minnie Driver as Maya DiMeo, John Ross Bowie (“The Big Bang Theory”) as Jimmy DiMeo, Mason Cook as Ray DiMeo, Micah Fowler as JJ DiMeo, Kyla Kenedy as Dylan DiMeo and Cedric Yarbrough as Kenneth.

Guest starring is Biana Lopez as Attendant, Tim Braun as Cabana Boy, Marissa McLaughlin as Katie, Kristen O’Meara as Manager, Marisa Davila as Mary, Kristin Carey as Mother, Travis Guba as Mr. Sharp, Thomas Ellenson as Nicholas, Parker Wierling as Ryan, Zack Micahel as Spence, Morgan Goldberg as Student, Shelly Bhalla, Alex Tortora as Waiter and Diana Costa as Woman.

“T-H– THE C-L– CLUB” was written by Danny Chun & Mark Roller and directed by Christine Gernon.

Judging from the episode numbering (and Dylan/Kyla's left arm), it looks like this episode was originally supposed to air before "Valentine's Day" -- and probably would have if ABC had taken off only one week instead of two for its Tues. and Wed. comedies...  (I looked up some of the others on The Futon Critic, and saw that at least a couple of them had to shuffle some eps around too.)

JJ falling out with Kenneth seems like an odd thing to have happen after Kenneth took care of his parents and brother in "Sick Day," but I suppose it makes sense that Dylan would take it upon herself to help the duo reconcile (possibly as a favor to JJ after he protected her from that jerk at school she was crushing on). 
