Renewal...?

Anyone around these parts know if there's a chance for renewal? I know for CMT it ended in 2017 but there was also talk of it being pitched to the CW and Amazon (and a LOT of comments here from THIS year in support of its renewal - https://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/sun-records-season-two-pitched-amazon-cw/). I also know a number of the actors are working on other successful projects currently. Just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. So cool to see Chad Michael Murray depict someone so atypical for him. It should return! Weird. Practically feels like yesterday that the promos for it were all over my TV.
