Absolute garbage

Taking the original characters and making them fit some stupid girl power agenda... Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn good? Not even Gotham girls went there. Plus its about high school, do they think thats the only thing girls want to watch, can't honestly say but I'd think they'd get tired of this rehashed junk

my kids are almost 6 and 4 and they love it. If you're an adult...this isn't for you. It's for kids, and at least in the case of my kids, part of the aimed-for demographic, they enjoy it. They have the dolls and they play their own adventures with the characters and <gasp> use their imaginations. It gives them an introduction to the characters and gives them good memories and later, when they are older, I have no doubt they will want to see more material about these characters, which leads to the other comics and material...and that's good for the future of DC and these characters.

The point was not whether it was a show made for kids or not. The point is it's nowhere close to the true origin of these characters.

I'm a huge fan of a Harley Quinn but she is no hero. She's a nutso PhD who is madly in love with someone who doesn't love her and a villain. You can keep the show all girl power and what not without changing the nature of these characters. Naturally, a show about superhero girls is going to need some villain girls (in fact the movies have had female villains) to be nemeses with so why couldn't Harley, Poison Ivy, etc be featured as such? Maybe go to a different high school for super villains much like the Disney Descendants (villain children) did. Believe it or not kids do understand good vs. evil.

They've had some really good Batman animated series that were geared towards kids and still managed not to dumb down these characters. It's the reason I hate Teen Titans Go. Seriously? Robin a love sick, narcissistic, douche that name drops Batman every episode. That appeals to kids? I think not.

Yep. My niece and nephew (6 and 4-years old) both love it. Not everything is made for 40 year old virgins.

Lol! Very well said! We are watching the Movie now and my own 4 and 6 year old are enjoying it. We will have to check out the show as well.

Well DC should come up with their own new characters for a tv Show not use ones that started out life in Comic books. That I add had dark story lines to them most of the time. Why is it this day and age people need to Make established characters princesses. You get all these feminists saying they wan't real gritty women. This doesn't help the cause when you essentially dumb down characters known for being pretty sadistic.

What next we going to have The Joker teach 3 year old's how to count or the Mr freeze telling you about snow and ice.

I get that DC doesn't wan't to have to establish new characters but it just doesn't feel right when you read an adult Batman comic knowing poison Ivy is prancing around in a dress saving the world with Supergirl.
