The live action movie now seems kinda unnecessary

Took em 30 years, but the Netflix show is the 1st worthy interpretation of the Voltron property since the release of the 1st Americanized version in the early 80s. You know they have to change way too much, make stuff objectionable, and add stupid filler in live-action adaptations (see Power Rangers), so i am just not anticipating it. Will i actually see it? Probably, but i feel like i am getting my satisfaction witht the Netflix show.

The live action movie has been in development hell since the late '00's. It would be hard to bring it to the big screen and do it right. Pacific Rim proved it could be done but now, the new series has more than done the job. Knowing Hollywood though, they will probably still come out with a movie at some point but expect it to not be good.

Victims, aren't we all?
