I wonder if the prince will show up in the series?

He should eventually. He was a great villain who wanted to get the Princess.

Maybe, but I don't think so. Zarkon been alive for thousands of years. I don't see him having kids.

Still he might show up.

I think so. There has been speculation that's him helping the team escape in episode eleven.

You're asking for a spoiler, so I'll give you one:

The final moments of the final ep of season 2 consist of Hagar, who just got her as$ beat in a one-on-one match with Princess Allura, stands up, dusts herself off, looks out at the now dead and defeated Zarkon, and says, "Summon Prince Lotor" (to quote Boondock Saints) like she's ordering a freaking pizza. Fade to black.
It was EPIC.
