that twist (spoilers...)

Well done and added more depth to pidge and the team as a whole.

I thought that was the case in the original, also. lol I think I had the same thought as Coran.

Lmao just got to that part how there was ever a confusion is beyond me

Secretly a woman?

"more depth"

Yeah, no. There is literally no difference in the character. If you deleted the 2 scenes that mention pidge is a girl, it wouldn't change anything else.

I agree. Pidge could have been a boy/man who changed his identity and it'd still be a great story angle.

Going from a robin boy wonder knock off who magically can operate every computer easily to a sister using every resource and idea she can to save her family is a huge improvement.

I had it spoiled (sort of) because I paused and went digging to see if Pidge was supposed to be a boy or a girl. I honestly couldn't tell from this show and I knew an actress provided the voice so that was even more confusing, but not entirely implausible (Bart Simpson is a woman after all). The way the character is drawn makes him/her look sort of either way, but then again that's sort of a problem with anime in general I've found so I was still lost. I finally found the wikia where it gave her bio and I remembered there was a thread here called "that twist" and put 2 and 2 together.

I always thought Pidge was a girl at first--from the original 1984 series. The character is pretty much androgynous. This twist, I like.
