why is Baz trusting what's-her-face with that kind of information??

Okay, this board doesn't seem to be active, but I'll try it just in case.

Am I the only one who was surprised Baz showed his lover (I mean, she is really just his lover, she is not even his girlfriend) where the money is hidden? I understand he is lonely, but that was still excessive - it's just too much money to trust, well, pretty much anyone with the precise location.

Plus, Marco is her brother, and if things go south between Baz's brothers and Marco (which they likely will), who knows where her loyalties will lie?

It has been a few weeks since you posted this and at least one episode has aired..
I agree with you about Baz especially in light of how the last episode ended...evidently the girlfriend is even a bigger cheese than her brother..Nobody knew...
On top of all that is Baz being so ballsy going after Smurf...Somethings gotta give here. I'm wondering if they're planning to shock us with a major death on the finale...Baz sure is flirting on the edge..
And brother Pope was already teetering on the edge when he made that major confession to his girlfriend..Now what's he going to do?.
Mark my words...somebody's done for.

Good point. You don't show anyone money like that. Your own family will kill you for that much money, it happens all of the time. I'm team Smurf, I hope she kills that ungrateful SOB Baz and gets all her money back. She took him in, treated him like her own son, and got him away from his very abusive father.

I know she is far from an angel but Baz has gone overboard. Now it looks like he has called the cops and turned her in for murder.

I knew as soon as he got shot it didn't have anything to do with Smurf or J. I figured it was the girl. That is why you don't tell ANYONE where that much money is. Smurf tells 1 person (J) she has a storage unit and in a few days time she gets robbed.

I thought Baz was supposed to be smart? Trusting some girl who is shady as hell. Might have cost him his life, idiot!

reply

Yeah, I think they purposely dressed J in that black hoodie in the end to mislead us, but there is no way J had anything to do with the shooting.

The moment they showed this woman and her brother sledgehammering the wall, I was like "Was I right or was I right?"

I am also wondering how not one of the Cody brothers has any compunction about screwing over their mother.

Most characters are as smart or as dumb as the plot calls for. You could see from the moment the girl was shown the money that a screw over was going to take place with Baz. The producers might just as well have scrolled a line across the bottom of the screen when Baz showed the money that said that Baz was going to have that money pulled out from under him.

The thing is, why would she pretend to still love him while he's dying ? She would not care if she's a cold-hearted killer. Plus it would have been much easier to kill him another way without all that set-up. Why would she try to convince him to go to Mexico etc. She did not need that to get him off-guard, she could have done a million time since. It's not like she did not know where the money was already.

I did not see season 3 yet.

reply

All of this was answered on the show already.

reply

LOL yes it was all answered.. I just binged all 3 seasons. So Smurf had him killed... and Lucy and Marco stole the money. Ok , I can believe that. I do believe Lucy loved him though.
Now Jay ....I mean come on, becoming a psychopath overnight and killing the lawyer was far fetched. And some of their job heists were also. Did they really need to ruin a perfectly nice wedding? lol
