NONE OF THESE CHARACTERS ARE LIKEABLE

Except for J, none of these characters are likeable. I felt sorry for Katherine, but we never really got to know her.
The police woman is horrible. The teacher equally unlikeable and selfish. Most of the characters are totally self-centered.

I think that was the intent of the writers. J has been a victim since episode 1 with his drug addled mother who died and then being thrust into a situation where crime and cruelty is the norm. The teacher and cops are painted as being awful as well even though the teacher is being taken advantage of and shows some remorse for her actions.

reply

Very good. That's why it's not called kitty kingdom.

reply

LOL!

reply

Like the others have said, that is the point of the series. I actually like that there are no Mary Sues. J is the most likable but even he has his flaws.

reply

Only the male Detective seems to have a conscience...

reply

Agree. He seems to be the only character that's not a scumbag.

I like Craig though, for reasons... And Smurf is a badass and fun to watch.

He is my fave too, but I cannot get over him being with a 16 year old girl!!! And J's ex. That is sooo not cool, however the theme of this show should be that there in NO honor among thieves.

reply

J is a creep. He just hasn't reached his full potential yet.

reply

Yep, I agree with that, he's showed shades of this already.

reply

I like pope and Baz is cute. I also think smurf character kicks ass

reply

I like Craig. I liked Derran the most at first. I'm also coming around to Pope.

reply

I expect to see a finale like Bonnie and Clyde. Despise all these characters.

reply

I hope to see it, but doubt this will happen any time soon. Assuming it's a ratings hit, I suspect TNT will unfortunately overplay it and renew it for subsequent seasons, like what is being done with Bloodline on Netflix. Too bad. Better for morally shallow bad guys (and ladies) to meet their demise in a more timely yet spectacular fashion, like in Bonnie and Clyde

Life is a state of mind.

reply

Pope was my least fav at first, but I have started to like the character, hes like of the bad guy you love to hate. Hes a crazy mfer and I am interested to see what becomes of his character!

reply

Well, Craig seems to be nice-ish. At least he is easy going and does not try to play mind games on his folks like all the others do (even J tries it a bit).

reply

Yup, really nice...stealing drugs over his "dead" girlfriend, sleeping with the underage ex of his nephew...what a gem!
