I think this show had to be a satire, sort of like an SNL sketch. I mean really. It is hysterically funny. The inmates are all in a pod together and do whatever they want and even do drugs right out there in broad daylight and no guard is physically stationed IN the pod to call for help when a disaster is imminent?

An inmate it subjected to a mock court and given 40 lashes and no guard comes to help? It is absurd. They are free to sit around and bully a weak inmate and no guard tells them to knock it off? It is a free for all?

The guards would be investigated for negligence and fired. It is all phony. I think many of these so called inmates must work as crisis actors.

When S1 was one I was really into it until about mid way through and I came here and learned that a lot of the "inmates" were 'reality TV' actors, Zach and his wife in particular.

The editing for the show is absolutely horrible. Once minute they show the inmates on a top bunk and the next they are on the bottom bunk. They are top of the covers, the next they are under the covers. They are on the right side of the room, next they are on the left side of the room.

I think this show is a scam as well. You can't tell me a sheriff can't put cameras in the pods to get information, but can put people in there?

Season 2 was even worse. I haven't seen the reunion episodes but it looks like Zach and his wife are going to milk this for all it's worth.
