Help me out here!

Ok, please help me out because this is driving me crazy. First I'll say this series wasn't life-changing or deeply moving like some of the other Netflix originals I have enjoyed but it was entertaining. The thing I enjoyed most was figuring out what elements of each vignette made the characters' lives overlap or interconnect in some way.

--The babysitter from *beep* Study" (1st story) was the lesbian pretending to be vegan from "Vegan Cinderella" (2nd story)
--Most of the characters from "Brewery Brothers" (3rd story) reprised their roles in the follow-up "Hop Dreams" (8th story) about the reporter from the indie news-publication on the trail of a story.
--The older female friend of the writer from "Art and Life" (5th story) and the husband/stay-at-home dad from "The *beep* Study" (1st story) reappeared with a more prominent roles in "Chemistry Read" (7th story) where they both played actors in a local theatre company. I also noticed the little tie-in that the young actress in one scene was reading the graphic novel (in a cafe scene) of the writer from "Art and Life". Also the actual vegan lesbian from "Vegan Cinderella" was that young actress's neighbor.

What is driving me NUTS is that I cannot find the elements that tie any of the characters from "Controlada" (4th story) and "Utopia" (6th story) to any of the others. If you've watched this recently or know how these couples fit in with the others, please let me know. Much appreciation!
