For a guy who doesn't usually watch dramedy.
This show has me by the feels man. In an age where the entertainment industry seems content to destroy the concept of the classic American family, I'm happy to see it represented accurately here(albeit with a twist). We don't often get to see strong, capable fathers who aren't bumbling idiots being taught by their kids and wives how to tie their shoes. Also, that Lost-worthy twist in Ep. 1 was great.
