Kate is morbidly obese with an ugly personality. There's no way a woman like Kate will find herself in a triangle with one man who desperately wants to marry her and the other thinking she's "sexy as hell" wanting to jump her bones. Straight up foolishness.

My theory is that the fat guy at the camp who handles the horses likes fat women. (People do.) And he sets himself up a job where he gets a new group of fat ladies every month. Then he picks one and has a month-long "fling". Then they leave and then a new group comes in and he picks one of them out. Kate is his selection for this group. She has a pretty face and great eyes and she's probably the prettiest lady in this month's group. I hope she isn't attention-starved enough that she falls for this. Toby really does love her, even if he can be a bit of a jerk.
shareThat is a good theory and would really fit with his character. He reminds me (actions wise) of Parker Abrams from Buffy the vampire slayer. Only Parker was being super nice to get the girl. This guy is going the opposite direction lol. But I have suspicions that he is the same level of douche as Parker was lol. Act like they have a connection with the girl just to put another notch in their belt. I do not trust him at all.

So big girls can't have guys like her? and bigger girls can't have 2 guys like her? Both of the guys are overweight themselves. Usually bigger guys will date bigger girls, nit always but alot do. It's not really that foolish, but thinking that b/c someone is overweight that she cant have 2 guys liking her is foolishness!

It doesn't matter is she's obese or not, there are people in this world that find it attractive, maybe you dont or me, but other people do. But for a person to imply that its crazy that 2 guys could want a fat/obese/overweight woman foolish, is a dumb thing to say. People like who they like
"Morbidly obese" means medically that she is more than 100lb over what she should be for her height and weight, and that this obesity accompanies medial problems such as hypertension, or heart disease, diabetes etc.

I think it was the really evil posters that got the board shut down. The ones, if exposed, wouldn't be allowed employment,to live near a school, etc.
One part of his post that rings a little true - Kate is not obese she's morbidly obese. She is killing herself because of her eating habits and lack of exercise. When people want to procreate, some do take health into account. So it's not that she doesn't look great in a mini skirt but that her weight shows she has some obvious issues.
Kate is also not particularly interesting, smart, funny, or nice. She's also severely lacking in introspection or insight. I don't know why this show wrote such bland characters. I had more hopes given the diversity of characters, but falling a bit flat already.

Not everyone is fatphobic. Kate is a pretty girl who takes care of herself. I've known many overweight women who have male admirers despite their size (no I am not morbidly obese). She always looks nice (clean, made-up, hair done, size appropriate clothing, jewelry, etc). Her nastiness is what would, in my mind, not make her terribly attractive to men, not her weight.

America has a huge obesity problem, if you look at film footage from say the 70s you would rarely see an obese person, now it is the norm.
Most of these fat people are obnoxious and disgusting. Maybe it is from their glucose levels. Now we praise them and talk endlessly about fat shaming. I have been thin shamed for years as I workout hard every day and eat clean foods. And every time that I receive this unsolicited criticism it is from an overweight person! In shape people usually compliment me.
